CMP’s Sweet Sixteen

Greetings to All:

We are excited to celebrate our 16th season! We are bringing the finest musicians from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Chamber orchestra, the Los Angeles Opera, and the music faculties of our great universities — UCLA, USC, and the prestigious Colburn School.

Season highlights include a world-premiere performance of a fabulous new work we commissioned by local composer John Steinmetz. our world-class musicians will present music by Maurice ravel and George Gershwin, as well as the ageless glory of Franz Schubert’s “Trout” Quintet. All this and commentary by Kusc’s popular host Alan Chapman.
